Biography


Representative Don Marostica

Don Marostica was born in Sterling, Colorado and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, Colorado.  He attended Colorado State University (CSU) on a full athletic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in 1970.  Don received his masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1975. 

While attending CSU, Don participated in the ROTC program and served in the Army after graduation retiring in 1979 as a captain in the 19th Special Forces Army National Guard.  After returning from Regular Army Duty, Don taught and coached four years at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Don has been involved with the real estate industry since 1977 and currently is a partner in Loveland Commercial, LLC.  Loveland Commercial has entitled and developed over 2,500 lots in residential subdivisions in Loveland including two affordable housing subdivisions and the Thompson Valley Town Center.

Loveland Commercial, LLC is currently developing 125 residential units and 17 commercial lots in North Boise Village located in Loveland.  Additionally, Loveland Commercial is remodeling 60,000 square feet of office and retail space.

Don is married to Carol and they have one child, Blaine, who is a Partner/Controller for Loveland Commercial.  Don is also the proud grandfather of three grandchildren:  Liberty, Wyatt and Honor.

Don has enjoyed extensive political involvement in local, state, and national boards, as well as, commissions and policy committees in Colorado.
